System formwork carpenter • Shasta County, California

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Shasta County, California. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
