We are recruiting: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Humboldt County, California. On the job you will handle: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
