Immediate opening: tyre service technician (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Whiteside County, Illinois. The job is at a busy tyre bay. The role involves: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe Requirements: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers 6+ years on the tools preferred.
