Shuttering carpenter • City of Roanoke, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in City of Roanoke, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
