We are recruiting: argon welder (South Dakota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Lyman County, South Dakota. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
