Cold room technician — Delaware County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Delaware County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
