Natural gas fitter • Bond County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Bond County, Illinois. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
