Concrete shuttering carpenter — Knox County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Knox County, Maine. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
