Garment machinist wanted in Kingfisher County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
