Urgent requirement: mechanical press operator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Greenup County, Kentucky. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
