Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Otsego County, New York. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
