Join our team: we are hiring a beldar in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Day-to-day duties: • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
