Frame straightening technician — Dearborn County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Dearborn County, Indiana. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Your main tasks: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair What we are looking for: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
