Nursery worker • Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State. You will work at a plant nursery. On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦550 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
