What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
