Glass and glazing technician • Dutchess County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Dutchess County, New York. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. You will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. Ideal candidate: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Able to cut glass accurately to size Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
