Great opportunity: cnc lathe operator (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Stevens County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
