Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Coosa County, Alabama. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
