Plant operator (dozer) — Dumfries and Galloway

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
