We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Borough of Swindon, England. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press.
