Gas appliance installer wanted in Daviess County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Daviess County, Indiana. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 6+ years on the tools preferred.
