Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Franklin County, New York. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
