Join our team: we are hiring a concrete worker in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
