Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames You should have: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
