Stainless steel welder — Clinton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Clinton County, Illinois. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
