Concrete pump mate • Dakota County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Dakota County, Minnesota. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
