Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Clinton County, Missouri. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Season and marinate meat on request • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
