Lift technician wanted in Wood County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Wood County, West Virginia. You will work in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs We offer $260 per day plus benefits.
