Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Wexford County, Michigan. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 5+ years on the tools preferred.
