Shakeout operator • Lawrence County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Lawrence County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
