Tyre bay technician — Olamaboro

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Olamaboro, Kogi State. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly 1+ years on the tools preferred.
