Refrigeration and AC technician — Livingston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Livingston County, Illinois. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. You will commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines. What we are looking for: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
