Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Dale County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
