Now hiring: we are hiring a glass cutter in Ford County, Illinois. You will work at a double glazing firm. The role involves: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
