Refrigeration and AC mechanic wanted in Lee County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Lee County, Virginia. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC On the job you will handle: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
