Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in Dorchester County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Dorchester County, South Carolina. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off You should have: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
