You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Day-to-day duties: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
