Earthmoving plant operator — Barbour County

Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Barbour County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
