We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Vandeikya, Benue State. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
