Ductable AC technician — City of Galax

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in City of Galax, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Ideal candidate: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
