Machinist — Dakota County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machinist in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will work at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Rotating shifts.
