Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in La Crosse County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
