Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Harlan County, Nebraska. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Full-time with occasional weekends.
