Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Sanilac County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
