Steel fixer — DeSoto County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in DeSoto County, Florida. You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
