Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Adams County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy production line. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred.
