We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in Oconee County, South Carolina. The role involves cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes 1+ years on the tools preferred. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
