Marble fitter — Ohio County

Join our team: we are hiring a marble fitter in Ohio County, Indiana. You will work at a kitchen worktop showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades Six days a week, one day off. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
