Bulldozer operator — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence On a typical shift you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
