Scaffolder wanted in Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolder in Carroll County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Your main tasks: • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
